Furnace Checklist*
- Select All
- Gas meter is unlocked by the local gas utility and is already on, or supply piping is at the meter ready to be connected.
- Gas piping is installed to the furnace.
- House has a working hydro meter installed.
- Completed power to the furnace with thermostat checked and working by an electrician (checked if the furnace fan turns on).
- Venting is properly connected inside to the furnace and vent terminations are fully completed/compliant outside.
- Furnace has new Merv 11 filter.
- Home is in compliance with the requirements for construction heat furnace activation set by local gas utility and manufacturer instructions.
- All house vents have been uncovered to provide proper airflow / furnace commissioning testing.
Water Tank / Tankless / Water Heater Checklist*
- Select All
- Gas meter is unlocked by the local gas utility and is already on, or supply piping is at the meter ready to be connected.
- Completed power to the unit.
- All water lines capped off and main water valve is on, and water is available at the unit.
- Condensate hose installed.
- All venting and external vent terminations complete.
- Gas piping completed to unit.
- Manual is with unit.
Fireplace Checklist*
- Select All
- Piping completed for fireplace
- Fireplace installation complete
- Gas meter turned on and ready for use
- Electrical setup complete
Gas Range Checklist*
- Select All
- Gas connection hookup
- Power connection completed/tested
- Hood fan installed and working
- Tipping bracket installed
Please note that each lot requested for commissioning not meeting the above checklist requirements are subject to a $75.00 not ready charge.
*We prioritize our workday to meet our clients needs and as such are unable to backfill any work from missed lots. These charges are to cover our technician’s compensation and expenses.
